I graduated from Brighton Polytechnic UK in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication. I worked in London for 2 years before returning to Singapore in 1985. I first started at Allied International Designers and later joined Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising as art director. From 1989 until 2004 I continued to work for several major international advertising agencies and design companies including The Bonsey Design Partnership in Singapore on a freelance basis while continuing with my own list of clients. Projects I have undertaken include a diverse range of disciplines, including corporate identity work, packaging and print design. I have also completed many projects in the food and beverage industry such as name creation, concept creation, interior design consultation and merchandising ideas. This includes work with a number of international hotels. Before we were also owners and creators of renowned boutique Hotel d’urville in Marlborough, New Zealand. We were also one of the original founding partners of Zouk Club in Singapore. |
My design packaging experience includes name creation and new product development for Rothmans Singapore, British American Tobacco as well as Reemstma Singapore. I have also produced design concepts for a wide range of consumer products in South East Asia and China for multi-national clients including Unilever and Proctor & Gamble. Other businesses that I have worked on include toiletries, food products and beverages. After 20 years in Asia, I now have an established list of highly recognizable clients. |
