The main building has been artfully designed by one of Pacific Rim's most respected design firms, Studio of Pacific Architecture in Wellington. The 500 sq.m. house has been created to fit perfectly with the environment whilst taking the utmost advantage of the priceless views that abound from every angle the 10 acre site. The house is the product of a wealth of knowledge gathered from experiencing the world. This combined with ingenious building technology and design has been translated into a truly unique property.

This five bedroom, three bathroom home is built using the best materials gathered from around the world. The open plan living area has four metre high ceilings and massive beams and posts plus a huge open fireplace. All windows are locally crafted from Cedar and double-glazed. The living areas open onto decks, main lawns and gardens. There is an indoor courtyard with a beautiful lawn that has been adorned with Balinese sculptures and a running water feature.

There has been extensive redevelopment and planting of the whole estate, by one of the region's top landscape architects.The grounds have been planted with hundreds of trees - fruit trees, olive varietals and native shrubs to suit the sunny site and preserve the panoramic full-circle views. Hand cut Palimanam stone tiles, a soft sandstone from Bali have been used on floors and walls and volcanic stone blocks from Mount Agung in Bali have been used to create the gardens and ponds.

Twisted Pine Cottage, offers visitors from around the world sublime seaside holiday accommodation. Guests have their own fully equipped, open plan kitchen with dining area and a comfortable lounge with a wood burning range.There are two bedrooms, one with a four poster queen-sized bed, the other having two super king singles.The bathroom a shower and full laundry facilities as well as a delightful an antique claw bath from which to soak up the view.
